Hello, it's Matthew Parker here, and I'm guest editing this month's All The Rage. Leila Johnston's actually doing most of the hard work, like designing the thing; really all I've done is emailed a couple of people to try to get them to contribute, and done a spot of proof-reading -- if there are any mistakes that slipped through the net (or if I thought I was correcting something but actually un-correcting it) then I apologise. The theme is AGE & MATURITY, because I got to choose the theme. This month's treats include: * The Independent's Rhodri Marsden on how he celebrated some of his most significant birthdays * Comedian Paul Kerensa on the ravaging effects of aging * Writer Tania Ahsan on why she wants to become a witch * A competition to win a copy of the first Madonna album (on vinyl -- it will make your friends think you're cooler than if you just own it on CD) Hopefully Leila will link you to the magazine now -- I don't know what the link is yet, so I can't tell you. Thanks, Matt ----------------- The link you require is http://alltherage.org.uk/alltherage-2008-05.pdf and the mothership is located at www.alltherage.org.uk. Also inside: Oliver Holtaway dispenses advice on how to calculate your age, Ralph Harrington shares the very beautiful back story of a very beautiful sculpture, Peter Fletcher's usual rambling loveliness, Sylvia's typically entertaining insights into her family life, and more! Thanks are due to everyone, but most of all to the boy wonder MATT PARKER for his superb guest editing skillz...I think this is the best issue in ages! -- Leila
